Modern She Made Swap Package

I finally finished my Rainbow Mini Quilt for the Modern She Made Swap.  To see the back story and fabric selection process, see this post.  I am really happy with how it turned out.  I hope my partner likes it.

I decided to do hand stitching for the little circles.  I am a total embroidery novice, but forged ahead anyway.  I looked at the great tutorials on Embroidery 101 at Clover and Violet, and decided to do a variety of stitches to make it more interesting.

The stitching is far from perfect.

And, I kinda wish I had just stuck with straight dashed stitching like above.

 What do you think?

Although I do like the Zig Zag.

Here is the complete package for my partner.  I added a Pezzy Print charm pack, and some San Francisco treats to represent the Bay Area.  I chose Sourdough snacks and artisan sea salt dark chocolate made in San Francisco.
